How to get media to cover your Palestine-justice event + How to get interviewed/quoted by media

Frustrated by Zionist bias and disinformation predominating media coverage over e past 2 weeks?
Are you organizing Palestine-justice solidarity events and want to learn how to get TV, radio, and online media to cover your event so that your message reaches the masses?
Is your organization/group looking to get media interviews and get quoted so that media coverage of the attacks on Gaza tells the public about what’s really going on and what they can do about it?
This hands-on training is for you.
We have amazing talent in our communities, great events being organized and talented knowledgeable speakers that deserve to be covered by media Every. Single.Day.
During this session, through small-group exercises, you will learn:
– 1001 easy ways to get yourself/your org interviewed every day(!) so that Zionist orgs/interviewees no longer dominate media coverage
– How to find and contact your local TV, radio, print, and online media outlets. (So that you know how to send one quick email that reaches all of them)
– How to use a template to write a simple 1-2 paragraph press release in just 5 minutes. (So that media outlets know to contact you for interviews and/or know about your event in advance along with compelling reasons why they should cover it)
– How to use a template to write a quick media statement that will invite interviews from media (so that media outlets contact you/your org for interviews)
– How to make sure that the coverage of your event looks the way you want it to (Images of your event are worth a thousand words–yes, it’s a cliché but true)
– How to make sure that the media outlet quotes you appropriately
– How to work with producers/editors so they don’t use false and irrelevant info put out by pro-Israel lobbying groups
– By the end of the session you’ll have an actual press release about an event your group is organizing or a press release with your statement so you can start getting interviewed asap. This is a real hands-on training using real-life situations.

About me: Over the past few years, I’ve trained hundreds of people in speaking effectively to media and have gotten many of them interviewed by the media hundreds of times. Frustrated by Zionist bias and disinformation all over media over the past 2 weeks (and for years) I’m providing this training free of charge to empower pro-Palestine organizers and activists so they can start dominating media coverage. By doing this, you will educate the public, changing hearts and minds, and build pressure on Congressmembers (who track the news and public opinion) to support justice in Palestine.
