Press Conference: New York Muslim Leadership Commit Towards Anti-Racist Work for Black Liberation

(New York, NY, 06/08/2020) – Muslim leaders across New York City will hold a press conference in front of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building at 163 W 125th St. in New York in response to police brutality across the country and structural racism underlying many policies that target, kill, and disenfranchise African-Americans in the country.

WHAT: Islamic Leadership Council of New York in partnership with Muslim organizations and leaders are gathering together to commit to anti-racist work and justice and equity for the Black community by challenging white supremacy, structural racism, and police brutality.
