Majlis Ash-Shura: Islamic Leadership Council of New York is dedicated to assisting mosques in getting through this difficult period of COVID-19 closures. We are also committed to helping our city as New York City is financially struggling through this crisis.
That is why we are combining the opportunity to help our mosques and our city at the same time. We will award grants up to $3,000 for engaging in efforts to get out the count and helping New Yorkers submit their 2020 Census.
Eligibility Requirements for $3,000 Grant:
- 501 c(3) registered mosque
- Be a member of Shura New York
- Fill out the application below
- Conduct at least 1,200 phone calls by August 7th
- A minimum of 400 phone recipients to fill out the Census.
