Speak! with Isra Chaker

John Jay Muslim Students Association and Students for Justice in Palestine present “speak!” – a discussion with human rights activist Isra Chaker!

Isra serves as the Refugee Campaign Lead at Oxfam, one of the leading NGOs in the world, and an UNRWA Global Ambassador – in addition to working on multiple other projects. She’ll be talking about her story as a Syrian-American and how she came to be doing refugee work, and tying that into how student activists can find their own purpose and advocate for change on issues they care about.
