Come Meet the NYC Mayoral Candidates

Join us this Friday, April 9th at 7:00 PM EDT for our Muslim community mayoral forum!
Majlis Ash-Shura: Islamic Leadership Council of New York is proud to partner with the Association of African American Imams (AAAMI), Arab American Federation (AAF), Islamic Circle of North America New York (ICNA NY), @masnewyork Muslim American Society New York (MAS NY), Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA), and New York Muslims United for Civic Engagement (NYMUCE) to host a mayoral forum in one of the most important elections of New York City history. This election is the first mayoral election that will include ranked-choice voting, and with the rise in Muslim voter turnout, the Muslim vote is more important than ever this year. With that being said, we wanted to make sure the Muslim community is engaged like any other community by mayoral candidates. The candidates will be asked questions regarding issues pertaining specifically to the New York City Muslim community. This forum will be hosted by our very own Zainab Iqbal.
